Alkhidmat organized a honorary ceremony for World Orphans Day at Aghosh Home Peshawar

At a ceremony held at Aghosh Home Alkhidmat Peshawar, Alkhidmat Foundation marked World Orphans Day, emphasizing the pivotal role of community in orphan care and education. The event, graced by notable dignitaries, underscored the significance of collective efforts in uplifting vulnerable children across Pakistan.

President Alkhidmat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khalid Waqas, led the ceremony, with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, honoring the occasion as the chief guest. The presence of former KP Assembly Minister Inayatullah Khan, along with Provincial Ministers Meena Khan Afridi and Syed Qasim Ali Shah, further enriched the event.

Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur lauded Alkhidmat Foundation's humanitarian endeavors, particularly its Orphan Care Program, promising unwavering government support for their noble initiatives. President Khalid Waqas shed light on the staggering statistic of over 4.6 million orphaned children in Pakistan, stressing the imperative of unified societal action in empowering them.

The ceremony witnessed the participation of numerous philanthropists, civil society members, and government officials, all applauding Alkhidmat's tireless efforts in providing solace and support to orphaned children. Currently, Alkhidmat oversees the welfare of 29,603 orphans nationwide, with 27,766 under their care at homes and an additional 1,837 residing in Aghosh Homes.

As Ramadan approaches, the call to donate zakat and sadaqah to Alkhidmat resonates profoundly, ensuring the continuation of their invaluable assistance to orphaned children at Aghosh Homes. Together, let us embrace the spirit of compassion and generosity, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those most in need.
