Help Alkhidmat Restore 2.3 million lives in Gaza
After successfully delivering emergency relief worth PKR 8.1 billion to the people of Gaza, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has now launched a comprehensive PKR 15 billion “Rebuild Gaza” campaign following the ceasefire. Building on months of tireless humanitarian efforts, this new phase aims to restore hope and stability for thousands of displaced families affected by the conflict. Under the Rebuild Gaza initiative, Alkhidmat will focus on reconstructing homes, hospitals, schools, and water systems, while also providing livelihood support, medical aid, and psychosocial care for children and families traumatized by war.
Rebuild lives in Gaza through Medical Treatment
Reportedly, over one million Palestinian children in Gaza face one or the other health crisis and there are no healthy adults in Gaza. It means that 25 months of devastating humanitarian crisis has left almost the whole population of Gaza in need of medical care to get back into normal life following the ceasefire in Gaza. Under the Rebuild Gaza Campaign, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan aims to construct a large field hospital near the Gaza border to provide a maximum number of wounded, sick, elderly, adult and children with medical treatment and healthcare services. Additionally, Alkhidmat Rebuild Gaza Campaign also aims to bring 1,500 wounded Palestinian in Pakistan for specialized medical treatment.
Rebuild Gaza through Education Support
Reportedly, 97% educational facilities in Gaza have been damaged, leaving Palestinian children and youth deprived of education following the ceasefire in Gaza. Under the Rebuild Gaza Campaign, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan aims to construct five shelter schools in Gaza to restore academic activities for hundreds of Palestinian children. Previously, Alkhidmat has already established two shelter schools in Gaza and hundreds of Palestinian children have been promoted to their next grade after completing their full academic year at Alkhidmat school.
In addition, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan also aims to sponsor higher education of 600 Palestinian students in Pakistan under the Rebuild Gaza Campaign. These 600 students will be brought to Pakistan to help them complete their degrees in Pakistani colleges and universities under Alkhidmat Academic Scholarships. Since October 7, 2023, 417 Palestinian students have already been provided with Alkhidmat support for completing their medical and non-medical degrees in Pakistan.
Rebuild Gaza through Uplifting Orphans
Several thousand Palestinian fathers and mothers have been either martyred or gone missing in Gaza since October 07, 2023. Thousands of innocent children have been orphaned, making orphan support one of the most important segments of Alkhidmat Gaza Rebuild Campaign.
Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan aims to expand its ongoing support for Gaza orphans from 750 to 3000 children. An additional 2250 Palestinian orphans of Gaza will be provided with financial aid and other necessary assistance to help them have a stable life towards a stable future. Alkhidmat has already cared for 750 Palestinian orphans in Gaza, providing 50 dollars monthly cash assistance to them.
Rebuild Gaza through Clean Water Support
Over 25 months of humanitarian crisis have virtually left 2.3 million Palestinians without access to clean water. It will be the toughest walk of life that oppressed families will be faced with while seeking normal life in Gaza following ceasefire. Alkhidmat Rebuild Gaza Campaign aims to implement at least 100 clean water projects in Gaza to help families, children and sick have uninterrupted access to clean water for drinking, sanitation and domestic use.
