Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held a meeting to plan province-wide preparations for sacrificial meat distribution and emergency response ahead of Eid al-Adha 2026.
Khalid Waqas, president Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, chaired the meeting, which was attended by provincial and district representatives and focused on planning the purchase, processing and distribution of sacrificial meat among orphans, widows and low-income families across the province.
At the meeting a strategy was finalized to ensure timely delivery of meat to beneficiaries, while guidelines were also issued for the organization’s animal hide collection campaign.
The meeting also reviewed contingency plans for the upcoming monsoon season, with an emphasis on preparing and training rescue teams to respond to potential emergencies.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
