During the holy month of Ramadan, Alkhidmat Foundation, in collaboration with the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), distributed meat among members of the transgender community across several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The initiative, carried out as part of Ramadan relief activities. Volunteers delivered meat packages to members of the transgender community.
An event, in connection, was held at the head office AKF KP, where the transgender were given meat packages. Provincial Patron AKF KP Sabir Hussain Awan, President AKF KP Khalid Waqas and other Alkhidmat officials were present on the occasion.
“Every individual in society deserves respect and the opportunity to share in the blessings of Ramadan,” Sabir Hussain said, adding that the foundation seeks to extend assistance to all those in need regardless of background.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
