Alkhidmat Introduces Remote-Controlled Life Buoy for Flood Rescue Operations

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan introduced a remote-controlled life buoy aimed at improving rescue operations during floods and emergency situations, enabling rescue teams to reach stranded individuals more quickly and safely.

A live demonstration of the technology was conducted in the Sardaryab River in Charsadda, where rescue teams showcased the device’s speed, manoeuvrability and rapid response capabilities during simulated emergency operations.

Reviewing the demonstration, President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman described the initiative as a significant technological advancement for Alkhidmat Rescue Services.

He said the new system would help rescuers save lives more effectively during flood emergencies by reducing response time and improving operational safety. He added that the technology had been provided to Alkhidmat rescue response centers to strengthen emergency preparedness in different regions.

The demonstration was also attended by President Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khalid Waqas, Regional Manager KP Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, President Alkhidmat Foundation Charsadda, Shafiullah, Senior Manager Program, Muhammad Waseem, and Coordinator Alkhidmat Rescue Peshawar, Syed Ahmad Ali Shah, along with rescue teams and volunteers.
