Alkhidmat Foundation volunteers rushed to the scene after a passenger vehicle overturned in the remote area of Nahag Dara Donei, leaving one person dead and 16 others injured.

The accident occurred on a winding mountain road, where the vehicle reportedly lost control on a sharp turn.

Alkhidmat&rsquo;s volunteers arrived quickly, administered first aid on-site, and safely shifted all injured passengers to Timergara Hospital for further treatment.

Alkhidmat Volunteers Rescue 16 After Deadly Accident in Upper Dir

As part of its &ldquo;Green Pakistan&rdquo; mission, Alkhidmat Foundation launched a tree plantation campaign at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU) in Peshawar.

The initiative was officially inaugurated by Muhammad Shakir Siddiqui, General Secretary Alkhidmat Foundation Central and Southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, along with Professor Dr. Safia Ahmad, Vice Chancellor SBBWU, who jointly planted a tree on the university campus.

The ceremony was attended by university faculty members, students, and representatives from the provincial Forest Department. Participants praised Alkhidmat&rsquo;s environmentally conscious effort and described it as a timely and vital step toward securing a healthier and greener future for coming generations.

In their remarks, speakers emphasized that tree plantation has become an urgent necessity in the face of rising pollution, increasing temperatures, and the intensifying impacts of climate change. Trees, they noted, not only purify the air but also play a critical role in sustaining public health, ecological balance, and the preservation of natural resources.

Alkhidmat Foundation has been actively working across Pakistan to raise environmental awareness, promote practical action, and engage the youth in conservation efforts. This tree plantation drive is one of several initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.

At the close of the event, participants pledged to expand the campaign within their own communities by planting more trees and encouraging others to contribute to the cause of a greener, more sustainable Pakistan.

Alkhidmat Launches Tree Plantation Drive at SBBWU

A five-day leadership training program for Section Heads of Alkhidmat Foundation Schools (Central Region) was held in Peshawar. 
The training focused on improving academic planning, classroom leadership, and assessment practices across the school network. 
Organized by Alkhidmat Foundation&rsquo;s Education Department, the program brought together male Section Heads from various districts. The sessions were aimed at equipping school leaders with tools to strengthen instruction and align teaching with defined learning outcomes. 
Sabir Hussain Awan, GS JI KP (Central)and Khalid Waqas, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, joined the closing ceremony as chief guests. In their addresses, they underscored the critical role of education in national development and stressed the need for well-trained, committed school staff. &ldquo;Strengthening our schools begins with strengthening our leaders,&rdquo; They said, urging participants to apply their training to improve student outcomes. 
During the five-day session Waheedullah, Senior Manager Education highlighted the long-term impact of investing in leadership at the school level. Also, key sessions during the training included an introduction to SLO-based (Student Learning Outcomes) education by academic expert Aziz Khan, aimed at helping school heads align instruction with measurable objectives. Muhammad Nadeem conducted workshops on lesson planning and classroom assessment, followed by group activities focused on developing practical evaluation tools. 
Later, appreciation certificates were distributed among the participants.

Leadership Training Held for Alkhidmat School Heads

Alkhidmat Foundation&rsquo;s three-day &ldquo;Shining Stars Leadership Camp&rdquo; concluded in Kalam with energy, inspiration, and hope, as orphan students from the Orphan Family Support Program took part in a wide range of educational and character-building activities.

The event organized in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture &amp; Tourism Auhtority and&nbsp;Directorate of Youth Affair KP&nbsp; was&nbsp;Designed to empower young participants with confidence, leadership, and a sense of purpose.&nbsp; 
The camp featured a full schedule of indoor and outdoor sessions, competitions, and group activities. Special emphasis was placed on personal development, moral values, and service to humanity.

&ldquo;These children are our future, and our mission is to help them grow into responsible, self-assured individuals,&rdquo; said an Alkhidmat organizer at the event.

The camp included training on leadership skills, a &ldquo;Clean and Green Pakistan&rdquo; initiative, and creative contests such as speech, naat, writing and hiking competitions. Students also explored Kalam&rsquo;s natural beauty and participated in interactive programs like &ldquo;Neelam Ghar&rdquo; and a lively Bar-B-Q night.

The camp ended with a closing and shield distribution ceremony, where high-performing students were awarded for their talents and efforts.

Alkhidmat&rsquo;s Orphan Family Support Program continues to be a source of hope and opportunity, offering not just financial support but meaningful experiences that help children thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

Alkhidmat Leadership Camp Uplifts Orphan Students
