Leadership Training Held for Alkhidmat School Heads

A five-day leadership training program for Section Heads of Alkhidmat Foundation Schools (Central Region) was held in Peshawar.
The training focused on improving academic planning, classroom leadership, and assessment practices across the school network.
Organized by Alkhidmat Foundation’s Education Department, the program brought together male Section Heads from various districts. The sessions were aimed at equipping school leaders with tools to strengthen instruction and align teaching with defined learning outcomes.
Sabir Hussain Awan, GS JI KP (Central)and Khalid Waqas, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, joined the closing ceremony as chief guests. In their addresses, they underscored the critical role of education in national development and stressed the need for well-trained, committed school staff. “Strengthening our schools begins with strengthening our leaders,” They said, urging participants to apply their training to improve student outcomes.
During the five-day session Waheedullah, Senior Manager Education highlighted the long-term impact of investing in leadership at the school level. Also, key sessions during the training included an introduction to SLO-based (Student Learning Outcomes) education by academic expert Aziz Khan, aimed at helping school heads align instruction with measurable objectives. Muhammad Nadeem conducted workshops on lesson planning and classroom assessment, followed by group activities focused on developing practical evaluation tools.
Later, appreciation certificates were distributed among the participants.
